DESCRIPTION: Small Arms - Ballard's flip top Derringer, manufactured approximately 1870, .41 caliber rim fire, exposed trigger with machined grip, nickel-plated steel receiver, original rosewood bird's head grips serial matched to the pistol, 2.75 inch barrel with top stamped "Ballard's" with side of barrel stamped "C.H. Ballard & Co," all matching serial numbers down to the grips, s#932.
CONDITION: Good action; fine overall cosmetic condition, rifled bore at just the barrel tip with hardly any pitting, numerous small dings on frame and barrel as well as scattered areas of oxide, almost complete loss of nickel-plated finish; fine trigger; grips with light dings most notably on left side grip.
